K of C Christmas Parade, Sunday, December 4, 2011

Dear Brother Knights and Families of Council 5452,

THE PARADE WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4TH 2011!!!!

THE TIME IS 2:00PM AND THE STAGING AREA IS AT STONEY CREEK HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT ON TIENKEN ROAD. ALL STREETS AROUND PARADE ROUTE WILL CLOSE AT 12:30 PM. THE HIGH SCHOOL WILL HAVE A WARMING AND REST ROOM AREA.

PARADE PERSONNEL: WE WILL MEET AT ST. ANDREW HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL NORTH AT 10:30 AM ....THE SCHOOL WILL OPEN THE FRONT DOORS FOR OUR PARADE PERSONNEL, COLOR CORP, FLOAT RIDERS AND FLAG BEARERS. WE WILL USE SCHOOL ROOMS NO. 10, 11 & 12 TO DRESS!!

Shuttel drivers can pick up people at the front entrance of the school. Rooms 10-11-12 are located down the south hall.

Shuttle drivers pickup PERSONAL after the parade can take Inglewood south to Romeo Rd. turn right, on to Letica. Take Letica south to Miller Rd left ( Miller Rd. is across from Fire Hall), Miller turns into First St. take that to Walnut St. to end of parade, to pick up passengers.

AFTER THE PARADE: ALL WILL MEET IN THE MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM FOR THE K OF C CHRISTMAS PARTY AND A CHANCE TO MEET SANTA AND MRS CLAUS!!!

Council Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month 7:30pm at the Rochester Community House.

Dear Brother Knights and Families of Council 5452,

The Father Baumgartner Knights of Columbus Council #5452* are hosting a “Blue Mass” to honor our “First Responders” this year on the tenth anniversary of September 11th. We will also be celebrating a 5452 Corporate Communion as well so please bring your families so they can meet the "First Responders".

We are inviting all police, fire and EMS persons along with their families to share in the celebration of the Holy Mass Honoring all “First Responders” past, present and future for all they do to protect our community.

Our Blue Mass and 5452 Corporate Communion will be celebrated by Father Brian Chabala, at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 771 Old Perch Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 8:30 am. (Please arrive 15 minutes early so that we may seat your families.)

Father Baumgartner Council #5452 donates Transport Chairs In Honor of Our Veterans

The Members of the Father Baumgartner Council #5452 want to Honoring our Veterans this year by donating Transport chairs to each of our served parishes. The chairs are for the parishes to use as they wish such as in transporting parishioners to and from the church from the parking lots. We are tentatively deliverying the chairs to their respective parishes: St Irenaeus 9/11/2011, St John Fisher University Chapel 9/18/2011 and St. Andrews 9/25/2011.

The chairs are embroidered with the US Flag and K of C 3rd Degree emblem and with gold lettering and the words:

"Donated In Honor Of Our Veterans"

The Father Baumgartner Council will participate with the VFW and American Vets on Veterans Day on Friday 11/11/2011 at 11am at Veterans Pointe, located at Livernois and Avon Roads. We invite all members to participate in the respective events.
